Berlin, July 2015 – A change in personnel in the camel active creative team: From August 15, 2015, Guido Johnen will be taking on the position of Creative Director at CMLC GmbH in Bielefeld (Camel Active Master Licence Corporation). He is taking over the position from Johannes Fischer.
At CMLC GmbH and in close cooperation with Art Director Joseph Lim, Guido Johnen will be responsible for the management of all higher-level creative processes as well as the coordination of European licensees for camel active menswear and womenswear. In addition, he is also responsible for the areas of marketing and retail. He reports directly to the Managing Director Volker Weschenfelder.
“We are pleased to gain such an experienced all-rounder with Guido Johnen. Through his know-how in design, sales and marketing, he will take care of the conceptual stringency of collection development all the way to the POS”, commented Volker Weschenfelder on his new colleague.
The 48-year-old textile engineer can look back at a long career in the field of textile and clothing. After ten years at Esprit, lastly as Sales Manager Germany for the Esprit Men Collection, he followed with four years as Director Casual Men at Marc O’Polo in Stephanskirchen.
In the last four years, Guido Johnen was in Rottendorf at s.Oliver for two years as Head of Design in the area of Men Casual and in the last two years as Division Head for s.Oliver Denim Men (formerly known as QS Male).
